The Nitty Gritty Series explores the finer aspects of chosen exhibits in Campus Martius and The Ohio River Museums. Presenters who have a special interest in their chosen topic will share their stories and expertise with participants. This program is for adults. Students ages 12-18 must have parental supervision.
Modern quilts and quilting methods will be on tap for August’s program. Participants will create their own mini-quilt as they learn about the fascinating history of quilting which reaches back to the Egyptian cultures. Learn about quilting bees, popular patterns and the myth of the “Colonial Quilt”.
