Pathway to Freedom
Prominent members of the Ohio Company of Associates had strong beliefs in equality and human rights. Some of these beliefs were laid down in the Ordinance of 1787, which would govern the new settlement at Marietta. Decedents of these settlers would continue this important fight for equality.
Pathway to Freedom will discuss how these beliefs were defended and how they later played an important role in the formation of the Constitution of the State of Ohio.
