Stories of Early Settlers, narrated by Bill Reynolds
Join us as our historian, Bill Reynolds, takes you on an insider’s tour of Campus Martius Museum. His inspiration will be David McCullough’s book, The Pioneers, in which he was a research contributor.
On the tour you will take a deeper look at the lives of the pioneers and their possessions as well as a guided tour of the home of General Rufus Putnam, an original home in the stockade.Many questions will be answered like: Did pioneers live in hollow trees? Where did Putnam entertain guests? Did Rufus Putnam actually save the Continental Army from destruction? Bring your own questions! PRE-REGISTRATION IS REQUIRED – 740-373-3750
